Christmas Parade

Ms. Warrell is wanting all of the TNHS clubs to be involved within the Christmas parade that is going on this coming Thursday. STLP will be involved and will be honoring the Nelson County EMS throughout the parade. Please join us if you are able to come in after school Tuesday or Wednesday to work on a poster for the Parade. Then on Thursday you are welcome to come and join us in walking in the Parade. Let me know in the comments if you are available at any time, and for more information ask me or Ms. Warrell. If you see someone within STLP that doesn't know about this yet, please spread the word around.

Young Ladies in STLP. . . Opportunity

October 31 Deadline:
NCWIT Aspirations Award

Again this year, STLP and the Kentucky Girls STEM Collaborative Project have partnered with the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT).  We need your help in getting information out to girls in KY to encourage them to apply for this national award.  Let’s help our girls get the recognition they deserve. 
The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) sponsors the annual Aspirations in Computing Award competition for high school women involved in and/or interested in technology and computing. Kentucky (KGSC) is proud to host the Award for the Aspirations in Computing. Award.  Recipients will be selected for their aptitude and interest in IT and computing, solid leadership ability, good academic history, and plans for post-secondary education.

This first post of the Thomas Nelson High School Student Technology Leadership Program is about the meeting dates and times. We meet every other Thursday in the media center from 3:15 to 4:00.
